FULL-FACE MASKS

    ATMOSPHERE FULLFACE MASK

The Atmosphere fullface mask is equipped with one of the world’s most high performing regulators - the Jetstream OP.
It is approved for cold water and in combination with the mask it features a unique highly effective de-fogging system which keeps the field of vision clear even at water temperatures close or equal to the freezing point.
The mask has a no distorsion visor, with blasted sides to prevent reflexions.

The mask has positive pressure breathing which is activated via a switch that can be easily reached even with thick gloves on.
The positive pressure breathing system is a fail safe construction which if not activated will allow normal demand valve breathing.
The mask can of course be used in all attitudes without free-flowing.

Once upgraded the regulator can be used without the mask, with no further modifications.
All parts on the mask are easily dismountable with an allen-key for servicing and cleaning.
The Carbon-dioxide figures are extremely low due to the low dead space and absolute seal.
It is tested by the Swedish Navy to range from 0.02% to 0.11% at breathing rates of 15 LPM to 62.5 LPM at 50m depth.
The regulator is approved in accordance with the EU PPE Directive 89/686/EEC and harmonised standard EN 250:2000.
Breathing performance is well within required 3 J/l at 50m depth at 50 bar cylinder pressure.

Any standard communication system will fit the mask.
The mask has external bouyancy compensating weights which also can be used for mounting torches, video-cameras etc.

Also available for Closed & semi-closed circuit range .

    Divator MKII

The face mask with inner mask is made of silicone and provided with a flat visor.
The sides of the visor are mat finished to avoid optical distortions which may be very irritating.
The mask has holed studs for fitting spectacles.
In the connection piece for the breathing valve there is space for a microphone to a diving telephone.
(When fitting a microphone a cover with long screws should be used).
The head harness has five straps that are tightened and locked by stainless steel buckles.
The wide and soft sealing edge of the mask is pressed lightly against the face by the positive pressure and follows the contours of the face giving an effective seal.

A breathing apparatus must be physiologically correct in order not to tire the wearer and increase the air consumption.
Rebreathing of carbon dioxide enriched exhaled air must be eliminated as far as possible (small dead space) and the breathing resistance must be as low as possible whilst the equipment must have sufficient capacity to cater for even an extremely hard work rate.
The dead space has been minimized by the inner mask and separate inhalation and exhalation channels which coincide with channels in the breathing valve.
In that way inhalation and exhalation air will never be mixed.
During inhalation, air flows from the breathing valve up through the demister ports over the inside of the visor preventing any condensation from forming, and on through the non-return valves into the inner mask.
During exhalation, the air is expelled to the ambient water through the exhalation valve.
